[U.S. UNDER-20 MEN] In the first camp of the new cycle, the U.S. under-20 national team split two games against Italian primavera teams, winning, 4-1, againstAtalanta after losing to Hellas Verona by the same score. Ben Spencer, who debuted this fall for Norwegian club Molde, had three of the five U.S. goals.
Spencer had twogoals, and Rubio Rubin and Romain Gall added goals and assists in the win over Atalanta.
Host Verona Hellasovercame an early Spencer goal off a pass from FC Dallas defender Kellyn Acosta to beat Tab Ramos’ U-20s, 4-1, in their first game in Italy. Ramos used all 22players who were called in for the training camp.
