MLS: Levien and Thohir buy out Chang's D.C. interest
The William Chang era in MLS has officially ended. On Monday, D.C. United announced that majority investors Jason Levien and Erick Thohir had bought out the remaining sharesthat Chang had retained when they took over ownership in 2012. Bloomberg News reported Chang’s shares were worth 40 percent of the controlling interestpermitted by MLS single-entity rules.
