Guatemala, currently suspended by FIFA in late October from all international activities, won’t play in the Copa Centroamericana, which serves as qualifying for the 2017 Gold Cup. The Central Americanchampionship will be held in January in Panama. It will qualify five of (now) six teams to the Gold Cup.
