[U.S. CLUB SOCCER] Former U.S. U-17 women’s national team assistant coach Tricia Taliaferro has been named U.S. Club Soccer’s id2girls associate director.
She will work with id2 Girls Director Rory Dames to help develop, administer and grow US Club Soccer’s girlsid2 Program.
Taliaferro served as an assistant coach with the U.S. U-17 women’s national team during the 2012 U-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan. She is currently a U.S.Soccer scout and Director of U.S. Soccer Training Centers held in Florida for girls.
Taliaferro served as a head coach at Illinois (1999-2001) and Miami, Fla. (2001-2010). She wasthe 2007 ACC Coach of the Year.
