• Bobby Shuttleworth was hired as the new Texas A&M women’s head coach, replacing G Guerreri, who started the Aggies’ program in 1993 and retired at the end of 2025 season. The former MLS keeper (14 seasons with four teams) moves to College Station from Florida State, where he has spent the last four seasons on the Seminoles’ staff, serving as associate head coach the last two campaigns. The announcement comes a day after FSU won its fifth NCAA title. It also won in 2023, Shuttleworth’s second in Tallahassee. Shuttleworth worked with the Seminole goalkeepers, including freshman Kate Ockene, who had one of the great performances in College Cup history with nine saves as FSU beat Stanford 1-0.
