[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] A Texas policeman has been placed on paid administrative leave after tripping and pushing high-schoolers who ran onto the field tocelebrate their varsity girls team winning a state championship.

The bizarre behavior of Officer George Bermudez of the Georgetown police was caught on video after AustinVandegrift won its first-ever title with a 1-0 win over Wylie East.

“After personally watching the videos, the actions of my officer are very concerning to me as well,” said Georgetown Police Chief Wayne Nero.

  1. No excuse for this behavior. He should be fired for malicious attacks on the teens. Never, ever put him anyplace near a crowd of people. Shameful!!

  2. I wish Texas would just succede and join Mexico, where they would fit right in with the cartels. How did Barbara Jordan and Clint Dempsey ever come from there?
