Three players from Gotham FC, which upset the Shield winner KC Current in Sunday’s quarterfinals, are among the finalists for 2025 NWSL player awards: Esther González, Ann-Katrin Berger and Lilly Reale.  Only two other players from the four semifinalists were nominated: Tara McKeown (Washington) and Olivia Moultrie (Portland). The Current led all teams with seven player finalists in addition to its coach, Vlatko Andonovski.
