The USA tuned up for the Gold Cup with a 4-0 win over Guatemala Friday night before a Tennessee state record soccer crowd of 44,835 at Nissan Field in Nashville. The result never looked to be indoubt, but the USA gave the Chapines far too many chances to please U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
