Tyler Terens spent three years as the voice of MLS’s Chicago Fire before serving MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in 2023-2026. He started play-by-play for Fox Sports in 2025 for broadcasts including the Concacaf Champions Cup and Gold Cup.

At 32, Tyler Terens will be the youngest of the Fox Sports announcer working games at this summer’s World Cup. He will be teamed with former U.S. international player Maurice Edu, calling at least seven games during the tournament, including at least one round-of-32 knockout game. He talked with John Shrader about this opportunity and his career.
