Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola said he is looking forward to facing Atletico Madrid and returning to Vicente Calderon Stadium when Bayern Munich plays Atletico in the Champions Leaguesemifinals.
“If Atletico play well, they always win. If they aren’t at their best, it’ll still be difficult,” said Guardiola. “[Diego Simeone] is oneof the best coaches in the world. He’s changed Atletico and given them confidence. They always make life difficult for you. We need to focus in the two games.” He added that Vicente CalderonStadium has “perhaps the best atmosphere in Europe.”
