Fabian Johnson was stopped by keeper Peter Gulacsi with a spectacular save in the first half but made up for it with a well-taken goal in the 84th minute to give BorussiaMoenchengladbach a 1-1 tie with unbeaten RB Leipzig. He became the fourth American to score in the first four games of the Bundesliga season after Bobby Wood (two goals), Aron Johannssonand Christian Pulisic.
