Five U.S. officials have been assigned to the 2023 Women’s World Cup semifinals, including Tori Penso, who will be in the middle for her fourth game of the tournament when she takes charge of Australia-England, where she’ll be assisted by American Brooke Mayo and Suriname’s Mijensa Rensch. It will mark England’s second straight game with an American in the middle after Katja Koroleva worked its 2-1 quarterfinal win over Colombia.
