U.S. Soccer’s five-person delegation, led by president Sunil Gulati, heads to Zurich for Friday’s FIFA presidential election without having declared its choice. The New York Times reports, though, that U.S. Soccer will vote for either Prince Ali bin Al Hussein (whom it voted for in the May election won by Sepp Blatter) or Gianni Infantino, the UEFAsecretary general. One possibility: vote for Prince Ali in the first round, then switch to Infantino after that. (No winner is expected in the first round when two-thirds of the vote is needed.)
