The U.S. women’s national team beat Japan, 2-0, in the second game of their two-game series. Julie Johnston and Alex Morgan scored for the USA in the match that was played in Clevelandand halted in the 76th minute due to inclement weather. The American defense shut down the Japanese, who had scored three goals in the 3-3 tie in Colorado three days earlier.
