USA and Hamburg striker Julian Green has been named one of the most disappointing Bundesliga transfers of the summer by German soccer magazine Kicker, while his USA teammate FabianJohnson, who joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Hoffenheim over the summer, received the lowest rating of his new club’s transfers.

According to the German pub, Green’s HSVwas the worst shopper of the summer transfer window, adding eight players that have yet to impress so far, with the German-American receiving a grade of two out of a possible 10. However, as ESPNpoints out, Green is not the worst overall performer in the list; his teammate Cleber, a defender, received just one point out of ten.

‘Gladbach’s Johnson, meanwhile, received a six, the lowest score amongst the Foals’ new arrivals, despite the club being the best performer in Kicker’s annual list. Both USA players have mostly appeared assubstitutes for their respective new clubs so far this season.
