Mexican striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has scored 80 league goals for Chivas Guadalajara, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, but the 27-year-old’s only hattrick came in a Mexico win over El Salvador in the 2011 Gold Cup. He got his first club hat trick on Saturday, when he scored three within 13 minutes in a 5-0 over Borussia Moenchengladbach, givinghim 17 goals in 20 games in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen, which he joined last August.
