Fantastic buildup from Ariel Lassiter and an artistic finish from 16-year-old Efrain Alvarez gave Galaxy II a 2-1 win over Las Vegas. The Galaxy preserved the leadthanks to a 90th minute penalty kick save from Justin Vom Steeg on an attempt from Efrain Alvarez’s 27-year-old brother Carlos Alvarez, who had assisted on the LasVegas Lights’ 10th minute goal by Omar Salgado. Lassiter scored the equalizer in the 21st minute from the penalty spot.
