Valour FC was denied an opening goal in its Canadian Premier League match against HFX Wanderers at IG Field in Winnipeg when one of its players, South Sudan international William Akio, tried to put a finishing touch on a ball about to roll fully across the line into an empty net (or did he celebrate the goal prematurely?) but instead somehow managed to kick the ball out of play for a throw-in. (Valour FC scored a late goal for a 1-0 win and get Akio off the hook.)
