Although Cameron Carter-Vickers made his first national team appearance in 2017, he has never been in Coach Gregg Berhalter‘s core of center backs, in large part due to lack of consistent playing time. But after loans to six different teams, Carter-Vickers finally found his home in Scotland with Celtic.
Injuries to Chris Richards and Miles Robinson — as well as his excellent performances for Celtic — helped him earn a spot on Berhalter’s 26-man roster.
