“Most Canadians have grown up on the plastic pitch, in cold conditions. These guys expect that now. It’s part of their DNA, it’s part of the journey. I feel like the Hamilton stadium is going to feel tight and compact. We played England there when I was with the women’s team and we beat them 1-nil and it was a really good atmosphere, a good energy in the stadium and it felt tight. And we want the U.S. to feel that. Even with 12,000 there, I’m sure they’re going to make it sound like there are 30,000 in there.”
