1. Mark Geiger, who refereed at the last two men’s World Cups, has retired to become PRO’s director of senior match officials. Hewill oversee the work of MLS officials, leading the PRO staff in coaching education and working on improving on-field and Video Review crews who work in MLS. In his 21-year career, Geiger also workedin the last three Gold Cups and the 2012 Olympics.
