1. Ajax is the latest European club to open an office in the New York, which will be its base for its soccer and businessactivities in North America. In January, Ajax will take part in the Florida Cup, playing Brazilian clubs Sao Paulo and Flamengo. The New York opening follows Ajax’s move this year into China, Japanand Australia, where it has entered into partnerships with local clubs.
