1. Former FC Cincinnati player Tommy Heinemann won his arbitration case against the 2018 USL regular-season champion. The arbitratorupheld the decision by the USL through its Dispute Resolution process that FC Cincinnati was in breach when it terminated the USL standard contract he signed for the 2018 season. Heinemann was on theFC Cincinnati roster at the start of training but later released after it said he had a failed physical. Heinemann, 31, played for the 2017 NASL champion San Francisco Deltas. He spent the 2018 USLseason with Penn FC. He was represented by Steve Gans, who ran for U.S. Soccer president in 2018, and Bill Worth of the Boston law firm Prince Lobel Tye.
