Former Arsenal star Ian Wright says something has to change with the Gunners — either manager Arsene Wenger must go or they must get a new owner willing to spend money.
Uzbek-bornRussian billionaire Alisher Usmanov made a bid to take full control of the Gunners from American majority shareholder Stan Kroenke but it was rejected by Kroenke, who owns MLS’s ColoradoRapids, among other sports teams.
“He has put in the bid and it is great news,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live. “Something has to change, whether it is the manager Arsene Wenger or whetherit is the board upstairs.”
