On Day 3, the Women’s World Cup came to life in Winnipeg. The play might have often been sloppy and produced several fluke goals, but there was also brilliance from some old and new names. Thedoubleheader was certainly worth the price of admission for the near-capacity crowd of 31,138 at Investors Group Field: two Group D games that produced 10 goals.
