• NYCFC signed 16-year-old defender Drew Baiera to a Homegrown contract through 2027 with an option for 2028. Baiera, who hails from Darien, Connecticut, joined the NYCFC academy at the U-12 level and recently debuted with NYCFC II in MLS Next Pro. He traveled to Japan with the U.S. U-16s to compete at the 2023 International Dream Cup alongside three other NYCFC Homegrowns, Christian McFarlane, Jonathan Shore and Maximo Carrizo.
