• The Seattle Sounders have signed 16-year-old defender Stuart Hawkins to a Homegrown contract, a deal through the end of 2026 with club options in 2027 and 2028. He was the MVP of the 2022 U-17 Generation Adidas Cup, which the Sounders won, and signed a pro deal with Tacoma Defiance in June 2022. Hawkins, one of 11 Homegrown players under contract with the Sounders, recently played for the U.S. U-17s at the Jezek Cup in the Czech Republic.
