Dayton won a league record 10th Atlantic-10 women’s championship with a 7-0 win over the No. 1 seed Saint Joseph’s, handing the Hawks just their second loss of the season.

“Inmy 25 years, this is the single-best performance I’ve ever seen by a Dayton team,” said Flyers coach Mike Tucker, who is retiring after the conclusion of the 2016 season. “Thegirls played gutsy. They’re doing everything right now and it’s so neat to see them have success now.”

Libby Leedom was named the tournament MVP after scoring a hattrick in the final.

Also on the all-tournament team: Micayla Livingston, Nadia Pestell, Nicolette Griesinger, Alexis Kiehl and Kaelyn Johns, who brokethe A-10 tournament record for shutouts (3).

Dayton had 29 shots to only five for SJU.
