However, Miami mayor Tomas Regalado said in July that The Miami Beckham United Group, which includes“American Idol” creator Simon Fuller, was now planning to build a stadium near Marlins Park, home of the MLB’s Miami Marlins. “We are getting closer,” the formerEngland and LA Galaxy player told Sky Sports. “There is a lot of positivity around the city and I’ve always said that Miami is a place that is going to love a team.
