• Seattle Sounders 3-1 Tigres (Aggregate: 3-3): Tigres advanced the semifinals against Nashville SC thanks to the away goal scored by Brazilian Joaquim on a header in the 31st minute. The Sounders had gone ahead on the first of two Albert Rusnák goals, but they needed three more goals to win the series. Goals by Danny Musovski (49th minute) and Rusnák (82nd) replicated Seattle’s famous 3-1 win over Tigres in 2013 but this time it was not enough. Wednesday’s match was the first for the Sounders on grass surface at Lumen Field, where it will play five of its next six MLS games.
