The San Jose Earthquakes have acquired Chicho Arango from Real Salt Lake for $1.4 million in GAM, divided evenly between payments in the 2025 and 2026 seasons, along with a 2026 international slot.
San Jose is Arango’s third MLS team and fifth team in less than years. He joined LAFC in 2021 from Millonarios in his native Colombia and was named Newcomer of the Year with 14 goals in 17 games. He started on LAFC’s MLS Cup and Supporters’ Shield championship team in 2022 but moved to Mexico’s Pachuca, where he only played one split-season before returning to MLS with RSL.
