The future of English soccer is bright, according to its coach, Roy Hodgson, after England completed a clean sweep — 10 wins in 10 Euro 2016 qualifiers — witha 3-0 win in Vilnius. The 10-for-10 sweep in the Euros is the first for England. “We are very pleased with that, of course,” said Hodgson. “I think the way we approached the game and stamped ourauthority from the first minute meant we were not often in danger of not winning the game.”
