1. The Nashville soccer stadium project hit another snag when a lawsuit filed by the Save Our Fairgrounds group has been allowed to go totrial. The lawsuit alleges multiple conflicts of interests in bids and contracts and violation of procurement laws for the proposed stadium slated to be built at Fairground Nashville. Thestadium was approved in late 2017 by the Metro Nashville city council but Mayor John Cooper and Nashville SC have been at an impasse over terms of the stadium deal and a piece of land that is part ofthe stadium deal.
