It’s been nearly six years since 23-year-old Giovanni Reyna debuted for the U.S. national team. When he earned his 45th cap in Tuesday’s 4-2 win over Chile it marked the first time he started back-to-back USMNT games in more than two years. Reyna, the only player Mauricio Pochettino started against Peru and Chile, set up goals in both wins. After Tuesday’s win in St. Louis, Reyna talked about relating to his new, younger teammates.
