Speaking on UK television, former Chelsea and LA Galaxy coach Ruud Gullit likened the decline of his former club in England to that of golfer Tiger Woods. “In the beginning everybodywho was standing with Tiger Woods knew already that they had lost the game. Now people see him and Chelsea and think: ‘We can beat them.’” The former Netherlands international added: “Theylost that aura of invincibility. They lost it. You can feel it. You can sense it. The players sense it also that the opposition is not afraid of you any more. To get that back you get it only byresults.” Chelsea, currently 16th in the Premier League table, lost its third straight game on Sunday, 1-0 at Stoke City.
