Kate Sobrero Markgraf‘s playing career for the USA in 1998-2010 included 201 appearances, three World Cups and three Olympic tournaments. At age 22, Markgraf (née Sobrero) was the youngest starter on the 1999 World Cup-championship team, and she also won a pair of Olympic gold medals.
