[LOUISVILLE-CONNECTICUT] Once again, No. 1 Connecticut needed overtime, but the Huskies earned one of their biggest wins of the season with a 1-0 victory at No.9 Louisville before 4,635 fans on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, UConn edged Yale, 1-0, on Nickardo Blake‘s goal in the 109th minute.

This time, the Huskies finished the job a little earlier, beating the Cardinals on Stephane Diop‘s first goal of the season 62 seconds into the second overtimesession.

Freshman Andre Blake made six saves to earn his eighth shutout of the season.

UConn is now 10-0-0. It has now won sixone-goal games after failing to win a one-goal contest in 2010.
