Here’s a possible vision of soccer in the future: 1. There is no dissent, because only the team captains can talk to the referee 2. Teams gather in their own penalty areas for a timeout to cool down after a mass confrontation, or when the game looks like getting out of hand, and 3. There are more goals because the offside rule has been relaxed in order to reflect why it was actually introduced in the first place.
