Johnny Cardoso has completed a move to Atlético Madrid from Real Betis.
The USMNT midfielder, 23, leaves Betis after 18 months. He immediately broke into the Betis midfield after arriving from Internacional in Brazil, where he grew up, in January 2024. The holding midfielder helped Betis finish sixth in LaLiga and reach the UEFA Conference League final in 2024-25.
