Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal on Wednesday admitted that he still does not know where Angel Di Maria is as Paris Saint-Germain once again claimed it wasclose to signing the Argentina international. Di Maria, who had been given time off after the Copa America, was supposed to fly to California on Saturday to link up with United on its preseason tour,but he missed his flight and Van Gaal implied he had gone absent without leave in an attempt to force a move by saying that he had still not appeared after Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat to ParisSaint-Germain in Chicago.
