Newcastle coach Steve McClaren on Friday said that the season-ending injury suffered by goalkeeper Tim Krul could end up costing the Magpies 20 points this season. The Dutchinternational, who ruptured his ACL in the Netherlands’ 2-1 win over Kazakhstan in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Saturday, will miss the rest of the season due to the injury. Newcastle is bottom of thePremier League after eight games without a win, conceding 17 goals even with Krul in the team.
