MLS averaged 21,988 fans per match for the 2025 regular season, down 5.4 percent from its record average of 23,234 in 2024, the second year in a row it had broken its attendance record.
Average attendance was down despite the huge success of San Diego FC, which averaged 28,064 fans for its inaugural season.
