The Philadelphia Union emerged from an arduous road trip to Orlando and Colorado with a pair of ties that was enough to slide into third place  in the Soccer America MLS PowerRankings behind the Rapids and FC Dallas, which held second by securing a 0-0 tie at San Jose.
