USMNT midfielder Sebastian Berhalter has joined the English Championship’s Middlesbrough from the Vancouver Whitecaps. Berhalter was due to become a free agent at the end of 2026, so the reported $2 million fee and a percentage of any future transfer for Berhalter was decent business by the ‘Caps.
