Seattle (finally) beat LAFC at home

Seattle 5-2 LAFC:
Since the club’s inception, LAFC have played Seattle 22 times going into Saturday. The first of which was LAFC’s inaugural game in which the new expansion team shocked the perennial contenders in Seattle. That game has become a microcosm of the rivalry. Going into the weekend, the Sounders had only been on the winning end of the matchup six times and its last home win against LAFC had come in 2021. For all intents and purposes, Los Angelinos are the Sounders’ bogey team.
