The KC Current (5-0-1) stayed on top in the NWSL standings with perhaps its most impressive win of the season.

The Current trailed at Angel City in front of almost 20,000 fans before rallying for a 3-1 win. Vanessa DiBernardo tied the game with a goal from outside the penalty area in the 54th minute and Claire Lavogez scored in the 90th minute and three minutes into stoppage time.

• Barbra Banda stars in first Orlando start: In her first NWSL start, Zambian Barbra Banda contributed to all three goals as the Orlando Pride (4-0-2) beat the Washington Spirit, 3-2, to remain unbeaten.

Acquired for $740,000, the second-highest transfer fee in women’s soccer, Banda scored the Pride’s second goal, assisted on Angelina’s opening goal and drew a penalty Summer Yates converted for the third goal.

• Lavelle scores in Gotham debut: In her first match with Gotham FC, Rose Lavelle scored seven minutes into stoppage time to give the defending champions a 1-1 tie with Racing Louisville.
