The 2024 NWSL Draft will be held Friday at the Anaheim Convention Center at 5 p.m. PT.

As more and more young women are turning pro and skipping college altogether, the draft’s importance will lessen, but it still has value, particularly for expansion teams needing to fill out their rosters.

The expansion Utah Royals and Bay FC both have two selections in the first round.

1. Utah Royals
2. Bay FC

Read here for the picks in all four rounds.

Players to watch. Two U.S. U-20 players, Allyson Sentnor and Savannah King, have left North Carolina early and are candidates to go as the No. 1 pick. UCLA midfielder Ally Lemos is a third U.S. U-20 player who has left school to enter the draft.

Florida State’s Onyi Echegini, who beat out Nebraska’s Eleanor Dale and BYU’s Brecken Mozingo, for the 2023 Hermann Trophy, has signed with Juventus.

Dale did not register for the draft and should sign for a WSL team in her native England. Mozingo is expected to be a top 5 pick in the draft.

Viewing. ION, one of the NWSL’s new broadcast partners, will offer live coverage of the 2024 NWSL Draft from 8-10 p.m. ET. All rounds of the draft will be streamed on ION Plus.
