[USL PRO: Week 3] OKC Energy FC won its US PRO debut with a 2-0 victory at the Orange County Blues on Saturday nightthanks to first-half goals by Kyle Greig and Nate Shiffman.
Sporting Kansas City loan player Christian Duke set up Greig (formerly with Wilmington) for the first goal after just 11 minutes, splitting open the center backs with a through ball. The Energy made it 2-0 in the 28th minute when Peabo Doue, who spent 2013 with Phoenix FC, headed a long ball down forShiffman, a rookie out of VCU, to slam home OKC’s second goal.
