We’re in for another full slate of MLS action this weekend! Here are five players you should be keeping a close eye on on Matchday 14!
Julian Hall (NY Red Bulls)
Saturday, May 16, 7:30 pm ET— at NYCFC 📺 Apple TV
Julian Hall has been on fire this season! The 18-year-old Red Bull New York homegrown player has been one of the most in-form strikers in the league, winning the starting job outright in week one ahead of Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting. Hall hasn’t looked back.
He has nine goals in 13 games this season. On Wednesday, he scored all three goals in a 3-2 win over the Columbus Crew, the youngest player in MLS history to bag a hat trick. His development under Coach Michael Bradley has some corners of the USMNT fanbase in full dual national panic, with Hall eligible for both the United States and Poland.
The Hudson River Derby is up next for the Red Bulls, a mouth-watering prospect between two teams capable of scoring multiple goals a game. Hall isn’t just a fun prospect anymore; he’s genuinely one of the most dangerous players in the league. He’s absolutely one to watch this weekend.
