Peacock’s broadcast of the Arsenal-Liverpool game on Sunday averaged 1.15 million viewers across English and Spanish-language presentations, making it the most-streamed Premier League game in U.S. history. The other two most-watched streaming broadcasts were also this season: Chelsea-Liverpool (Aug.  13, 2023) and Manchester United-Tottenham (Jan. 14, 2024).

  1. That’s because it was only available on Peacock at least in my cable area. FUBO did not have it. Unfortunately I was among the numbers that helped make the record as it was another poorly arbitrated game – should have been no surprise as the referee assigned – Taylor – has a history of abusing Liverpool. The color man in booth with Arsenal background – Lee Dixon – among the better ones – but former Arsenal – so could not be more one-sided in all respects. Then the countless shots of coaches while game playing on – and further – meaningless replays – not coordinated with the color man – over the top of field play again. Not impressed. Still – they get their record so congrats, just lost me. I will skip the next one – in March – Man City. There will be lots to talk about afterward for sure – that’s what the Prem specialize in upsetting fans. I guess it’s good for business.
